Reports:

Elena (President)

We had an awesome camping trip last weekend!

Glide updated information (did not save the new information on the slide on the day of the meeting)

Julia (Vice President)

No report

Haya (Secretary)

I received an email from Pizza Rev for fundraiser. Executive Board decided on two different dates for them to choose that will not be conflicted with DSA’s events and JASK event as well

March 3rd, 2015 (Tuesday) or March 4th (Wednesday)

I will inform you as soon as Pizza Rev email me back with confirmation J

Emmanuel (Treasurer):

I found in the budget was miscalculation from last year 2013-2014 of $103.15 that I subtracted it from our DC budget and everything is matched between our DC budget and AS current statement

Second, found $64.30 in our budget that we did not aware of it. I contacted AS accountant via email and they informed me that A. Rolon got reimbursement for supplies on 9/29/2014. Apparently that she did not communicate with DC organization and me. Advisor Robert, please inform to your NCOD staffs to communicate with DC organization especially Executive Board to be aware that they use our account for reimbursement(s) or expense(s). Give us a copy as well

Since my proposal for petty cash has approved, I took $100.00 out of $310.00 in cash from Skateland fundraising event. I transferred $100 from General Fund account into JASK account with Skateland transaction of $210.00

The total of $100 in Petty Cash account

The Petty Cash purpose is to use the petty cash for additional money for changes during the fundraising event(s). Second, to purchase for food supplies OR any supplies regard for upcoming Fundraising event(s). When you request the specific amount of money from Petty Cash is ONLY for fundraising event(s) and no circumstances for any other for non-fundraising event(s). You must return with the same amount of money into Petty Cash account. You will need to sign the paper form and have Advisor Robert to sign it as well to lend you petty cash

Jeffrey (Sergeant-at-arms:

No report J

Clarisia (Spring Banquet):

I just had my Spring Banquet meeting last night and we discussed having a fundraiser either MB2 (go cart) or Sky High (trampoline) on Friday, March 6th. Nhi will host a discussion on that

We are working on decorations and centerpieces. We are really excited about this theme and incorporating it to the event

One last thing, we recently found out the event date conflicts with Deaf theater class performance, it’s happening the same night. I already booked the place but I’m trying to see if we can maybe move it up to another week May 1st. I’m still not sure

Thank you and please share the event. Buy your tickets!

Alexandra (JASK)

Skateland fundraiser was success!!! Over 60 people attended and we raised $310, Emmanuel has already deposited cash into DC fun

Money from chipotle has finally been resolved and that is officially transferred to DC agency account, which Emmanuel will transfer to JASK fund as well

JASK new and current budget - $1,017.16

Had a committee meeting this afternoon and the ball is rolling on many different JASK details

Have contacted and submitted supplemental funding request form for $360.00 for voice interpreting services to AS

Have contacted Deaf Studies department for Volunteer interpreting services for other events occurring during JASK week

Have a meeting with M.I.C. coordinator of events

Will be asking to get t-shirts either donated or discounted for DC board, plus JASK committee members and for presenters (need shirt sizes, will send out group email) the T-shirts will include JASKs logo and dates of JASK week for this year, we have budgeted to incorporate this fun feature and it is very doable!

Tyler (Deaf CSUNians Ambassador Program)

The DCAP meetings are going well! The contestants are working on their presentations

Friday, February 27th is no longer the official date

Reason: more practice for contestants because they are nervous about it and we want this program to have good quality. It may be either on Saturday, March21st or the first week of April (maybe not because it’s near Spring Break). The official date will be decided next week

Next Thursday, February 12th, we will have DCAP informational meeting. NCOD MPR at 6:15pm to 7:15pm

Reason: Get more contestants! Jennifer has already emailed others who may be interested. I will make new business regarding this meeting

Will go with Jennifer to PPM Friday afternoon to look for more furniture for the Lounge
