I am working on a DC day retreat. Will post the possible dates online and you can vote on what works for you!

I want to make a video announcing all new committees of DC. This will include people’s name, major, hometown and a little about their committee position. Let me know if you have any ideas AFTER the meeting!

I had my first committee meeting this week and we reviewed what needs to be taken care of and what we need to prioritize.

This past Saturday I went to the Annual Club Recognition Conference with Tyler. It was extremely beneficial. I went to 4 workshops:

I highly recommend anyone and everyone to go to the Annual Conference next year to learn how to be a better leader as part of organization and as a student

First Hike
-
First hike is on October 25th. I decided to do the “Rising Sun” trail in Solstice Canyon! It’s about 3 miles long and should take less than 4 hours total to complete.

All the information will be posted on Facebook and emailed out to people who are interested in attending. We will meet at 9:00AM at a specified location (for carpool) and then drive together to the location. SPREAD THE WORD!

I talked with Bob about hosting Halloween event at NCOD and he approved it. It will happen on October 17th Friday at 6:00pm to 10:00pm
