• Elena (President):

  • No Report. Vice President will take over of the meeting.

• Julia (Vice President):

  • Will postponed the RAP discussion until next week.

    • (Conflicted with another event)

• Haya (Secretary)

  • If you are planning to miss a meeting, not only to email President and Sergeant-at-Arms, you will also email Vice President and Secretary.

    • It already included in the contract you signed. Communication is ESSENTIAL.

• Emmanuel (Treasurer):

  • DC’s new balance: $5,987.73

  • Gave the reimbursement check of $94.56 to Art Chairperson on October 15, Wednesday.

  • Reimbursement checks pending:

    • Elena: $45.92

    • Nhi: $154.36

      • You can pick up your check today after the meeting or wait for me to pick those checks and give it to your next week.

• Clarisia (Spring Banquet)

  • Still looking at venues

• Alexandra (JASK)

  • Still deciding dates for JASK, right now it is March 23rd-27th

    • Other fundraiser mentioned last week that may conflict, committee members have not contacted me

  • In process of planning first Fall fundraiser for Beginning of November. Will be contacting 3 restaurants next week:

    • Acapulco, Chili’s Chipotle

• Will bring more information about that to board next week

• Tyler (Deaf CSUNians Ambassadors Program)

  • Postponed DCAP Informational Meeting to next Friday, October 31st (Mark you calendar!)

  • Turned in my rental paper works!

  • Will develop a Vlog to explain what DCAP is

  • Please encourage others to join DCAP

• Danielle (DC Lounge)

  • At the beginning of the week, I put up a Fall Themed board in the DC Lounge. This board is an opportunity for students to write down what their favorite thing is about Fall Season. Please add to it if you haven’t and spread the news to other students!

  • The Survey issue has been resolved. Will blast the survey soon. So look out for the survey on your CSUN email!

• Matt (Recreation)

  • Hiking event is on Saturday! I posted on Facebook all the information people need to know! Remember that the Voices Off event is on November 4th (Tuesday) from 9PM-11PM

  • I won’t be in attendance due to preparation for the Stop Audism Lecture Series event. (Excused).

• Braden (Social Cultural)

  • No Report. Excused.

• Tuzdie (Public Relations)

  • Re-posting and sharing hiking event on all media sites and event board in Lounge

  • Added events happening onto event board in lounge DC, DSA, and LH related

  • Please contact me by email about any other events you wish to have posted on the media websites, DC lounge board or even the CSUN “Sundial” newspaper/M.I.N.D. TV’s on campus.

    • Note on Sundial newspaper and M.I.N.D. require at least a week notice (this is AST requirement).

• Danielle (DC Lounge):

  • I move to reimburse $158.89 from DC Lounge budget for purpose of cleaning and decorating the lounge

    • Expansion: This amount includes brand new cleaning supplies, decorating items, and food provided for my committees after a long day of cleaning.

 

Announcement:

• Nhi (Fundraiser)

  • Will have a fundraiser at Bounce Boba Loft; will happen next month.

  • Informal vote on the dates will be post on Facebook page soon!
